Broken Like This by Monica Trasandes

If you’re a fan of authors such as Ian McEwan and Margaret Atwood, then you should definitely check this book out by debut author Monica Trasandes.  It centers on young Kate Harrington, a college student who in the process of documenting young sex workers for her college thesis comes to address her own abusive past.  As the novel develops it introduces her two love interests, Angela and Louis.  This is a beautiful, yet heartrending novel that will leave you rooting for all three of the characters.
