The Dinosaur Hunter by Homer Hickam

12/28/2010

Part mystery, part western, and partly about paleontology Homer Hickam’s latest has a little bit for everyone.  A retired LA detective spends his days running a rural Montana ranch and chasing the widowed owner.  However, when a paleontologist arrives and begins to unearth T.Rex bones things get interesting around the ranch.  First, it is the mysterious death of cows, but it is a murder at the county 4th of July celebration that brings the retired detective out of retirement to solve the mystery and protect those he loves.
